Our Story

Hello, bonjour, namaste,

My name is Isabela Blanchet, founder of Face to Grace Beauté, master aromatherapist, Ayurvedic practitioner, botanical formulator, and lifelong student of natural healing traditions.

For more than 25 years, my work has centered around understanding skin, plants, and the deep connection between inner balance and outer radiance. What began as a personal need gradually evolved into a life path — one shaped by study, hands-on formulation, teaching, and one-to-one care.

A Need Met with Passion

Since my mid-30s, I have experienced frequent allergic reactions to commercial skincare — even products labeled “natural.” Determined to understand what my skin truly needed, I began learning how to create my own remedies.

In 1998, during a course on basic skincare formulation, I made my very first moisturizer. That moment changed everything. It felt like discovering a living language — the language of oils, botanicals, and the intelligence of nature.

I began experimenting with cold-pressed plant oils, essential oils, and traditional herbal preparations. I created personal blends, healing balms, and an eczema unguent. As my kitchen transformed into a small formulation lab, I shared what I made with family and friends — and their responses confirmed what I felt: plant-based care could be both gentle and deeply effective.

Encouraged by those around me, I founded Face to Grace in 2000. I sold products at fairs and markets, collaborated with health food stores, and began offering personalized care rooted in holistic traditions.

Rooted in Ayurveda & Botanical Wisdom

My learning journey expanded far beyond formulation. I pursued formal training in Ayurveda across Canada, the United States, and India, where I also received traditional treatments — an invaluable form of embodied learning.

Over the years, my work has included:

  • Personalized consultations based on Ayurvedic principles
  • Custom botanical skincare formulations
  • Ayurvedic facials combined with energy work
  • Teaching classes and workshops on natural skincare and self-care rituals
  • Writing educational blogs to share practical knowledge
  • Studying essential oils, plant energetics, and herbal preparation methods
  • Distilling hydrosols from plants grown in my own garden

This work has always been experiential — learning by doing, observing, refining, and listening to both plants and people.

My Personal Philosophy

I believe true beauty is not created — it is supported.

Skin is not something to control or fix, but something to understand. Each person has a unique constitution, environment, and story, and care must be individualized, respectful, and intentional.

My philosophy is guided by a few simple principles:

  • Nature is intelligent — when used properly, plants work in harmony with the body.
  • Less, but better — purity and quality matter more than complexity.
  • Balance before correction — healthy skin reflects internal harmony.
  • Learning never stops — formulation, teaching, and practice continuously evolve.
  • Care is relational — through consultation, listening, and shared experience.

Every product I create is the result of observation, testing, and real-world use — not trends.

An Unexpected Detour — and Deeper Learning

In 2019, after an accident that significantly affected my mobility, I closed the business. Recovery was long and challenging — but it also became a time of deep study and reflection.

During this period, I continued learning about essential oils, allergy-safe formulation, soap making, and plant cultivation. I began growing more botanicals, distilling my own hydrosols, and teaching small informal sessions to friends.

What seemed like a pause became a refinement — of knowledge, purpose, and direction. Gradually, Face to Grace began calling me back.

The Brand Story

Face to Grace Beauté was born from lived experience — sensitive skin, personal experimentation, and a search for authenticity.

It grew through years of study, teaching, and formulation.
It paused through adversity.
And it returned with deeper wisdom.

Every product reflects real practice — consultations with clients, teaching women and men of all ages, refining formulations, growing plants, and working directly with the raw materials of nature.

This is skincare shaped by life — not marketing.
