Hello, bonjour, namaste,

My name is Isabela Blanchet, founder of Face to Grace Beauté, master aromatherapist, ayurvedic practitioner, product formulator, and passionate seeker of inner and outer beauty.

Need met with passion

Since my mid 30s, I was regularly experiencing allergic reactions to commercial skin care products, including “natural” ones. In 1998, during an exciting course, I learned how to make a very basic moisturizer. It was like falling in the proverbial magic potion. I started experimenting with various oils and essential oils, making my own products, including eczema unguent. Recipes being too large for one person, I shared my bounty with family and friends.

After a couple of years, a friend suggested I start a business. I registered Face to Grace in 2000 and the business officially started. I sold at fairs and markets, in a few health food stores. I trained in ayurveda in Canada, the USA and India, where I also received treatments, another great way to learn. I started offering ayurvedic facials with energy work, classes and workshops to help women of all ages and skin types. Increasing numbers of women, but also men, were looking for “really” natural skin care products and services. I wrote blogs twice a month on my website to share knowledge with kindred spirits.

Unexpected detour

In 2019, I officially closed the business after an accident that seriously affected my mobility. Through the long recovery process, learning more about essential oils and ayurveda kept my spirits up. As things got better, I started making products again, learned more about allergies, how to make soap, grew plants in my garden. I even bought a distiller and now making hydrosols (floral waters) for my products. I also occasionally taught friends what I learned. Face to Grace subconsciously was pushing to make a comeback. It became conscious this past August.

Let's meet again

With a sturdier body and the exponential demand for natural products, time was now ripe to launch Face to Grace Beauté. I dove into the challenging world of e-technologies. Equipped with a Shopify store and a 1-year course on natural beauty on the Teachable platform, I am ready to meet with you again. Here you will find refined and “really-truly” natural products, a book on aromatherapy and ayurveda, and a window on an exciting, life-changing course.
