Why is allergy testing important before using a new product?
It helps detect irritation or allergic reactions before applying the product — a simple step that significantly reduces the risk of flare-ups.
There are two ways to check for allergies:

What is Muscle Testing?
Muscle testing is a safety check practiced by chiropractors, physical therapists, and alternative health practitioners. The technique assesses muscle performance against resistance. It operates on the theory that the nervous system causes a muscle to temporarily weaken or "unlock" when exposed to a physical (or emotional) stressor.
How does muscle testing work?
- Baseline Strength: The practitioner asks you to hold a specific posture — often fingers touching or an outstretched arm.
- Applying Force: They apply gentle, gradual manual pressure while asking you to resist.
- Introducing a Stimulus: While maintaining contact, a potential stressor or substance is introduced (e.g., placing an herbal supplement on the liver area).
- Measuring the Response: The same pressure is applied again. If the muscle momentarily weakens ("unlocks"), the practitioner interprets this as an indicator of sensitivity. If it strengthens, the substance is considered a good option.
Although not officially considered reliable by the medical community, contrary to the patch test, the muscle test will never provoke a skin reaction.
